CEO, Propel(x)

Science startups face especially high hurdles when fundraising. Today, of America’s $53 trillion of assets under management, only 0.1% goes toward investing in early stage science-based startups. This lack of attention that goes toward science and technology startups is changing, in part due to the rise of online investment platforms, which democratize access and facilitate fundraising for science companies.

We will discuss how science startups can use online investment platforms as a key part of their fundraising efforts. We will also cover best practices for mounting a successful online fundraising campaign and highlight successful case studies, including startups at QB3.
